Mother of Pearl Necklace

Shell pearls, also known as mother-of-pearl pearls or simulated pearls, are man-made pearls created from the inner lining of mollusk shells. They are formed by grinding and polishing small pieces of the shell into spherical shapes, which are then coated with layers of natural pearl essence derived from crushed oyster shells and other organic materials. This coating gives shell pearls a lustrous appearance similar to that of genuine pearls.
